Moroccantastics was founded by Zakaria and Abdelaali, two proud Berbers born and raised in Morocco. Zakaria studied English literature at university and became one of the best certified tour guides in Morocco, developing deep relationships with a network of artisans across the country. His knowledge and appreciation of the local culture led him to launch Moroccantastics, showcasing the finest and most exquisite crafts rooted in Moroccan heritage.
Abdelaali is an online marketer who has also worked as an accompanying driver guide. He is passionate about Morocco and has made it his mission to present Moroccan culture to the world through local handicrafts. Abdelaali is also an English speaker, having learned at the American language center.
After more than 13 years of friendship, Zakaria and Abdelaali decided to found Moroccantastics together. They share a deep love for Moroccan culture and a commitment to supporting local artisans.
