This set of three candleholders was made by hand in Tamegroute, a small village in southern Morocco where pottery has been crafted the same way for generations.
Each piece is shaped on a simple wheel, dried under the sun, and fired in wood-burning kilns built from clay and brick. That process leaves behind details you can’t plan for — glaze drips, color shifts, stacking marks, or tiny surface flaws — the kind of things machines can't replicate.
Every piece carries its own journey in the kiln.
That’s what makes them beautiful.
The green glaze is made from local minerals and turns deep and earthy during firing. No two candleholders are ever the same, but they belong together — just like pieces of a story.

⚠️ Please note: Tamegroute pottery is famous for its rustic charm, featuring minor imperfections such as baking marks, fine lines, and sometimes small treated chips — all of which add character to each unique piece. If you are looking for a perfect, machine-made pottery item, this pottery type is not for you.
